Pregnancy Update: 37 Weeks

HOW FAR ALONG: 37 weeks

HIS SIZE: 19 inches long & 6 pounds; the size of a honeydew melon

WEIGHT GAIN: 32 lbs

SLEEP: I have been sleeping exceptionally well this week (minus last night where I was up from 12-3:30 AM). That being said, I have also been exceptionally sleepy during the day.

SYMPTOMS: I went to the doctor yesterday and had a sonogram to get an estimate of how big A is getting. At 36w6d, they put him roughly between 7.5-8 pounds. This weight approximation can be off up to 10% +/-. If the estimation is correct and he put on half a pound until his due date, he would be around 9-9.5 pounds. Ryann was 9 pounds 1 ounce born at 39 weeks. Based on my belly size, I feel like he is bigger than she was at this point but I guess we will see when he make his debut! On another note, I am already dilated and 50% effaced. When I went into the hospital to be induced with Ryann, I was 0 cm dilated and 0% effaced so this is very welcome news. Praying that I go into labor naturally this time so I can avoid induction. Any tips on making this happen are welcome!

STRETCH MARKS: None

MOVEMENT: He is super low and I can feel his feet kicking all the time.

THREE THINGS I AM LOVING RIGHT NOW:

1: Chuy's -  Usually I only feel so-so about this place but lately have been craving the chicka-chicka boom-boom enchiladas and tres leches cake. The cake is an even weirder craving because I am not a sweets person. Chuy's will definitely be on the menu for Super Bowl Sunday!

2: Sweatpants - Is there anything better when you are super pregnant? My fave pairs are my Wildfox and Lululemon pairs.

3T3 Whirl Convertible Styling Wand - Guys! This curling iron is rocking my world! The curls are holding for 3 days and it takes me less than 10-12 minutes to curl my hair. That is pretty darn fast considering how much hair I have. I was hesitant at first due to the price but love that I can just purchase the additional barrels as needed. This purchase goes down as a win!
